2017 BCPS Film Expo
On April 8th, Reigna's film, "Poncho" screened in the 2017 Baltimore County Public School Film Expo at the renowned historic Senator Theater in Baltimore, Maryland.
It was an exhilarating evening for Reigna to not only visit and experience the Senator Theater for the first time but, to also have her film show on the big screen there.
Reigna joined all of the filmmakers onstage after the screenings where she fielded questions about "Poncho" from judges and others in the audience.
Reigna enjoyed gathering with her Carver Film teacher, Mr. Khalid Ali, former, retired Photography teacher, Mr. Carroll Cook, and film classmates for a commemorative group photo.
Reigna was interviewed after the program about having won 1st place documentary for "Poncho" in the Baltimore County Public School Film Expo. She learned that this win advanced her film to the 2017 Maryland Film Festival, in downtown Baltimore, where it was scheduled to screen as part of the Youth Showcase on May 6, 2017.
